Many independent and student films are truly amazing! But these films rarely get the attention they deserve.

To fix this we've created Vurchel. Here we are collecting all the independent cinema in one convenient place, where you can watch most of the films for free. And soon we will start promoting films through various channels to help them reach a wider audience and get the love 🥰

Most films are available online only years after they have screened at festivals. It can be tough to track them down. On Vurchel, you can be notified when a film becomes available to watch online.

CUT TO: GENT is een gezellig kortfilmfestival voor, door en met jonge filmregisseurs tot 30 jaar. Jaar na jaar zet het festival zich in om het werk van opkomende filmmakers te verspreiden en promoten. Inzendingen voor de editie 2021 zijn nu geopend en sluiten op zondag 13 juni 2021. CUT TO: GENT is a cosy short film festival for young film directors up to 30 years of age. Year after year, CUT TO: GENT is committed to showcasing the works of emerging filmmakers and helping them distribute and promote their shorts. Submissions for the 2021 Festival are now open and will close Sunday June 13th 2021.
