EFN Short Film Festival (Emerging Filmmakers Night) is a BIFA qualifying international festival that showcases, educates and promotes emerging filmmakers. Through our annual festival in September and targeted industry events throughout the year, we provide new filmmakers from all socio-economic backgrounds and age groups with the space to express themselves and the tools to navigate within the industry intelligently and with confidence. Being a team of filmmakers and programmers, we have an eye for raw talent and are particularly interested in unique and authored voices. EFN Short Film Festival consists of: > EFN Awards Night: - An annual in person and live-streamed hybrid event with films in competition. - Two awards: CRITICS’ CHOICE and AUDIENCE FAVOURITE. - A panel of highly accredited critics (Leeds Int. Film Festival, BBC, TIFF) - Live Q&As with the filmmakers. - Audience interaction with questions & comments in real-time. - Reaching over 3000 cinephiles per event from over 35 countries. > Official Selections Screenings > Affordable Industry workshops in Screenwriting, Festival Strategy and Funding. > Specially curated panel discussions.
