Fallbrook International Film Festival

The Fallbrook International Film Festival (FIFF) started in 2007 and ran for 5 years as a volunteer run event until 2012. We are relaunching the festival for its 6th official season with 4 film showcases running through 2022 and the festival itself in 2023. Fallbrook, California is just south of Los Angeles nestled in the bustling SoCal winery scene...the perfect location for film lovers and filmmakers! Fallbrook was once home to film director Frank Capra. A special award will be given out in his name, with the blessing of his family, at the 2023 FIFF. The festival is open to all people, whether you are an emerging filmmaker or a seasoned veteran. As a lead in to this awesome relaunch in 2023, we are featuring 4 film showcases focused on short films created by emerging filmmakers in 2022. These 4 events include the following: - The Rodarte Emerging Filmmakers Showcase (April 2022) - The Power of Women Film Showcase (July 2022) - The 1 World Environmental Film Showcase (October 2022) - Mi Cultura: A Celebration of Culture Film Showcase (October 2022) - The 2023 Fallbrook International Film Festival (date TBD) To shine a light on the amazing films that will make their way to our showcases and festival, we will be launching a YouTube channel to celebrate Notable Films and we will be hosting our showcases and festival at the Historic Mission Theater in Downtown Fallbrook. Since 1948, The Mission Theater has been around and during its lifetime, the theater hosted first run films such as Barbara Stanwyck starring in the 1954 film, Cattle Queen of Montana doubled billed with Loretta Young starring in The Farmer’s Daughter.
