FENETRE SUR COURTS D'AVIGNON

The Agence Clin d’œil presents the fourth edition of « Fenêtre sur Courts », International Festival of Short of Avignon (FRANCE) films created by a group of enthusiasts of cinema, professionals and amateurs. For a few days, « Fenêtre sur Courts » is going, not only, to promote the short film with a wide public curious about movies of fiction, about animation and about documentary... But also offer to him to meet and to have a dialogue with the actors and the directors, often the young creators in the promising talent presenting their works for the first time. The short film, which is in a way the passage obliged before realizing a full-length film, revealed some big film-makers of our time : Godard, Truffaut, Polanski, Scorsese. This film genre a little underestimated, called on to the same technical and artistic logistics as the full-length film: scriptwriters, directors, comedians, technicians. From now on, the horizon widens because the television makes more and more call to him through commercials, documentaries and series. Upstream to the Festival It is essentially thanks to the local, regional and national press which widely echos our search for quality movies, that more than 500 movies are the object of a first selection by a committee of cinema enthusiasts and professionals.
