O Festival é uma iniciativa do Circolo Trentino di Bento Gonçalves e Trentino Promozioni tendo por objetivo a divulgação, premiação e a busca por novas experiências no meio cinematográfico para a população local. Além do desejo de incentivar o público da região a produzir e fazer cinema na Região Uva e Vinho. A edição 2021 será no formato híbrido.
