The Festival Internacional de Cine de Oriente (FICO) presents its 14th edition, to be made between the 11th and the 15th of November 2021, in the beautiful town of Guatapé, in the Antioquia region of Colombia.
The Festival Internacional de Cine de Oriente in this edition, recognizes the cinematographic production effort both local, national and international, and its official competition Vitascopio 2021 will be made up of regional, national and international short films to be presented and awarded during the festival.
Under the main theme “Cinema, history and society”, will take place our official competition VITASCOPIO 2021, opening its doors to short film productions in fiction, animation and documentary, which will make part of the main short film competition to be screened along the general program throughout our festival, aiming to promote and stimulate the growth of cinema both in a local level as well as an international one.

El Festival internacional de Cine de Oriente presenta su edición número 14, que se realizará entre el 11 y el 15 de noviembre de 2021 en el hermoso municipio de Guatapé, departamento de Antioquia.
El Festival Internacional de Cine de Oriente en esta edición, otorga un reconocimiento a la producción cinematográfica nacional e internacional y su convocatoria Vitascopio 2021 estará conformada por cortometrajes de ficción y documental del orden regional, nacional e internacional, que harán parte de la Selección Oficial.
Bajo la temática Cine, Historia y Sociedad, se realizará nuestra Convocatoria VITASCOPIO 2021, para archivos audiovisuales y cinematográficos de ficción, animación y documental en formato de cortometraje, que integrarán las categorías regional, nacional e internacional, que conformarán la Selección Oficial VITASCOPIO 2021 y que harán parte de la programación general a exhibir, con el fin de fomentar y estimular la producción de nuestro cine y de otras latitudes, desde lo local a lo internacional.
