FHFF will be a Virtual Film Festival, October 14th through October 24th. We will schedule films for the first three days of film screenings (10/15-17) so that we can follow each screening with Q & A with the filmmaker. The following 7 days will be VOD with a virtual awards ceremony on 10/24. We would have invited the filmmaker to attend but now we will hope to do a live-streamed Q & A session that will be recorded and shown with each of the VOD viewings.
The festival will stream selected documentaries and shorts for 10 days, October 14 through 24, 2021. The virtual festival will feature real-time live-streamed Q&A sessions with filmmakers. Festival awards will be selected by audience choice votes.
The festival will feature films highlighting fascinating island cultures, marine ecology, heroic adventures, sustainable agriculture, social justice, current environmental issues, and stirring stories of human interest. OUR VIRTUAL AUDIENCE IS WORLDWIDE.
DIRECTOR SERIES will resume in February 2021
Call for Submissions for impactful documentary films highlighting heroic adventures, sustainable agriculture, marine ecology, social justice, the environment, and stirring human interest stories.
Selected films will be scheduled each month from December 2020 through September 2021. Films will be offered on-demand 24/7 for 10-14 days during the scheduled month and will include a Livestream Q&A with the filmmakers during the streaming period.
