Thank you! *** The Fight Back Film Awards are a satellite event of the Ramsgate International Film & TV Festival. Fight Back aims to showcase and honour the work of veterans in the film industry, promoting the use of film and creativity as a way of combatting mental health struggles for veterans. It is believed that veterans wait 12 years on average before seeking help with their mental health, and that Serving Military Personnel are 12x as likely to experience a common mental health problem as other members of the population. Recovery through art has been commonly used to combat these issues, and the Fight Back Awards are proud to promote it with our new strand dedicated to the work of veterans.
