FIKTIVA - Media Art Festival à PARIS

FIKTIVA – PARIS - URSPRUNG - The Media Art Festival is planning a retrospective for the 1st June 2018 in PARIS at the Cinéma Luminor, in which film, video-art, performances/theatre plays and fine arts meet. Since the festival started 2017 in Düsseldorf, generating an exchange between France and Germany, the festival will be present in 2018 in the medieval neighborhood Marais (4eme arrondissement) in PARIS. The festival aims to dissolve the urban routine in the Old Town district of Paris as it did in Düsseldorf and wants to overcome the boundaries between reality and fiction. Ultimately visitors and passersby become aware of the work of various international artists. URSPRUNG (Origin) as the slogan of FIKTIVA wants to point out that investigation has to go deep in order to get to the true core or to find the real. Therefore, considering the slogan, works are been selected which provide a contrast to the electronic and future-oriented endeavors of our "modern" society and its urge for virtual reality. Peter Brook had realized that he had to search for a theater freed from any Western influence in order to rediscover a (real) theater again. As a result, he decided to travel to Africa with a select group to better understand the origins of theater. Under this premise, the festival rediscovers and shapes the reality of the urban life. FIKTIVA prépare une rétrospective pour le 1er juin 2018 à PARIS au Cinéma Luminor dans le quartier médiéval du Marais (4eme arrondissement). FIKTIVA est un festival d’art-média au sein duquel le cinéma, la performance, les arts numériques et le théâtre se rencontrent et fusionnent de manière innovante. Le but est de briser la routine urbaine de PARIS et de combler les frontières entre réalité et fiction. Les visiteurs prévenus et les passants aléatoires peuvent participer de façon interactive et aller à la découverte des divers travaux des jeunes artistes. Il faut souligner que ce festival s’adresse à tous les âges et tous les milieux sociaux.
