Film & Her: A Female Filmmaker Showcase

Film & Her is committed to showcasing emerging female talent within the filmmaking community and creating an atmosphere of unity. PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING To be eligible at least one of the following key creative roles must have been filled by a woman: Writer, Producer, Director, Cinematographer, Animator or Editor. To be considered as an emerging female filmmaker you or the women on your team cannot have won any awards at any Oscar-qualifying film festivals. The 2019 Showcase will feature filmmakers from the east coast of the United States. We are showcasing films made in the following states: Connecticut Delaware Florida Georgia Maine Maryland Massachusetts New Hampshire New Jersey New York North Carolina Ohio Pennsylvania Rhode Island South Carolina Vermont Virgina West Virgina If your film was not made in the listed states it will not be accepted for the 2019 showcase. We are working on expanding our showcase across the United States so please be patient while we work to bring emerging female talent nationwide. We are not accepting screenplays at this time.
