Due to COVID-19 and the closure of all theatre's in Toronto Filmi will be held virtually. FILMI will celebrate its 21st anniversary with a full schedule of screenings and industry workshops December 27th, 2020. The vision of the Filmi South Asian Film Festival is to promote, discover and celebrate cinematic endeavours by talented South Asian filmmakers, and highlight works with South Asian themes and artists that can be brought to a mainstream audience.
