International Youth Film Festival "Film of New Generation"

Festival «Film of the new Generation» is a two-part festival consisting of the international competition "A Movie in 5 Days" and "Film of the New Generation". AGE LIMIT: 35 YEARS OLD (INCLUSIVE) THE MAIN REQUIREMENT FOR THE FESTIVAL IS TO HAVE AN AWARD-WINNING FILM. The competition "A Movie in 5 Days" will be held from September 22 to 28, 2021.The Festival will be held from September 28 to October 3, 2021 as part of the Tashkent International Film Festival "Pearl of Silk Road". During the competition the contestants will make short films about Uzbekistan. The expenses for the trip, including a visa, flight, accommodation in a hotel room, trips within Uzbekistan to the location and back, and the costs of three meals a day for the film crew, are provided by the organizing committee. One of the criteria for participation in the competition is to send the organizers the last winning film that participated in the film festival. The films included in the form will also take part in the International Youth Film Festival «Film of the New Generation». Within the framework of the Film Festival, films which previously received awards in other film festivals will be shown by the directors participating in the «A Movie in 5 Days» competition. The Festival is held by the Agency of Cinematography of Uzbekistan, the State Unitary Enterprise «Yoshlik Kinostudiyasi» with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan. The Festival will be held from September 28 to October 3, 2021 as part of the Tashkent International Film Festival.
