Finisterra Brazil Film Art & Tourism Festival

This Festival has at its core the objective of promoting the Arrábida Region in the world of cinema and thus attract directors and producers to one of the best and most interesting destinations with the greatest number of hours of sun in Europe to film. It is with great pleasure that we receive an increasing number of requests for films in the region, from major film producers to high-end advertising brands for advertising campaigns. Every year we challenge those who visit us during the festival, to produce at least a short video to publicize the festival itself, the region or the country. This challenge has become a real driving force for the promotion of Portugal and the Arrábida region. We will also be holding a festival in Arraial d'Ajuda, Porto Seguro in Bahia, as a way to gain a new market, namely in Latin America and North America. In this 1st edition, the Jury will be composed of 10 members linked to cinema and Tourism. The Arrábida Film Commission in Portugal that organizes this festival has as main objective the promotion and support to the various cinematographic productions filmed in the Region and we believe that in the future the festival may become a very important catalyst in the promotion of cinetourism in the region.
