ENGLISH Fisura, International Experimental Film and Video Festival, Mexico summons for its second edition 2021 filmmakers, audiovisual artists and the general public (national and foreign) who have innovative works, which propose new ways to expand the territory of cinema through of a creative spirit that breaks the limits to find new language codes through new and old technological supports. Currently Fisura, is named as a revelation festival in Mexico that has managed to capture in its first edition the best artists and filmmakers in the world. This has allowed us to show an intergenerational mosaic of talents that has attracted the attention of various cultural institutions in Mexico and abroad. The effort to expand the exhibition spaces of different cinema has led us to be nominated by the emeritus professor and pioneer of experimental cinema, Gwendolyn Audrey Foster in her Top 15 of the best experimental film festivals in the world. Our objective as a festival is to make experimental cinema have a greater boom in the social fabric in this way curatorial efforts can captivate a wider audience that feels part of the energetic torrent that only art can give. The works that are presented do not participate for any prize or economic remuneration. Our official selection will be linked to some cultural institutions in Mexico and Latin America. Fisura has become a space space, since in addition to the exhibitions we seek to find ourselves in a dialogue with all the selected artists so that the Mexican and international audience can enjoy and meet the artists who are revolutionizing experimental cinema, we have also opted to generate networks between filmmakers, curators and researchers to open a broad horizon. For this edition, the reception of the materials will take place from February 24 to October 25, 2021. The results will be announced on November 3 to later be exhibited on November 14 of this year. COVID 19 Given the situation of COVID 19, our festival will adhere to sanitary regulations, in case cultural events remain restricted for the month of November, we will do all the exhibitions virtually as in our first edition, in this situation we cannot accept requests special projection or demands to break sanitary rules, since we are experiencing an emergency crisis worldwide. //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// ESPAÑOL Fisura, Festival Internacional de Cine Y Video Experimental, México convoca para su segunda edición 2021 a cineastas, artistas audiovisuales y público en general (nacional y extranjero) que cuenten con trabajos innovadores, los cuales propongan nuevas formas de expandir el territorio del cine a través de un espíritu creativo que rompa los límites para encontrar nuevos códigos de lenguaje a través de nuevos y viejos soportes tecnológicos. Actualmente Fisura, es nombrado como un festival revelación en México que ha logrado captar en su primera edición a los mejores artistas y cineastas del mundo. Lo cual nos ha permitido mostrar un mosaico intergeneracional de talentos que ha llamado la atención de diversas instituciones culturales en México y en el extranjero. El esfuerzo por expandir los espacios de exhibición del cine diferente nos ha llevado a estar nominados por la profesora emerita y pionera del cine experimental, Gwendolyn Audrey Foster en su Top 15 de mejores festivales de cine experimental del mundo. Estamos abiertos a aceptar cualquier tipo de trabajo y "categoría" siempre y cuando explore la visión del cine experimental. 1.- Found Footage 2.- Videoarte 3.- Video Ensayo 4.- Híbridos 5.- Documental (Experimental) 6.- Animación 7.- Ficción (Experimental) 8.- Super 8, Home movies, Glitch, Remix, reapropiación, performance Nuestro objetivo como festival es lograr que el cine experimental tenga un mayor auge en el tejido social de esta manera los esfuerzos curatoriales pueden cautivar a un público más amplio que se sienta parte del torrente en´rergetico que solo el arte puede dar. Las obras que se presentan no participan por ningún premio o remuneración económica. Nuestra selección oficial se vinculará con algunas instituciones culturales en México y Latinoamérica. Fisura se ha vuelto un espacio espacial, ya que además de las exhibiciones buscamos encontrarnos en un diálogo con todos los artistas seleccionados para que la audiencia mexicana e internacional pueda disfrutar y conocer a los artistas que están revolucionando el cine experimental, también hemos apostado por generar redes entre realizadores, curadores e investigadores para abrir un horizonte amplio. Para esta edición, la recepción de los materiales se llevará a cabo a partir del 24 de febrero al 25 de octubre de 2021. Los resultados se darán a conocer el 3 de noviembre para posteriormente exhibirse el 14 de noviembre del presente año. COVID 19 Ante la situación de COVID 19 nuestro festival se apegará a las normas sanitarias, en caso de que los eventos culturales sigan restringidos para el mes de noviembre, haremos todas las exhibiciones de manera virtual como en nuestra primera edición, en esta situación no podemos aceptar peticiones especiales de proyección o exigencias para romper las reglas sanitarias, ya que estamos viviendo una crisis de emergencia a nivel mundial.
