EXTENDED DEADLINE >>> APRIL 17th >>> SUBMISSION FEES WAIVED!!! The Flamingo Film Festival is dedicated to exhibiting international short films and videos produced by student filmmakers. For the past seven installments, this event, held in-person and online from sunny South Florida, has honored outstanding dramatic, documentary, experimental, music video, and animated projects created by students while enrolled in a college, university, or other post-secondary institution. It's the goal of the Flamingo Film Festival to continue to encourage student creativity, recognizing achievements in film and video. In 2020, due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, the seventh edition of the Flamingo Film Festival moved to a streaming platform. The 2021 festival will be an entirely virtual event, showcasing student films that demonstrate excellence in storytelling or production value. This year’s online festival will be held at 1PM (ET), Saturday, April 24, 2021, on Twitch.
