FLM FWD festival Barrington RI, is a Small Town Film Festival in a context conceived to encourage community building, showcasing family-appropriate content to promote the understanding of diversity is seeking BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and otherized filmmakers. This two-day festival, in its inaugural year, calls for submissions of shorts and feature films that explore the stories and issues that express the breadth and depth of the American experience of otherized populations. The festival is a community-wide celebration, August 6 & 7, 2021, which will include music, food, child/family activities, all surrounding the outdoor screening of a select slate of narrative and/or documentary films spotlighting diversity.
