FREE THE KITSCH – ATHENS FILM FEST is a celebration of controversial, DADA, queer, underground, experimental, DIY, surprisingly beautiful films that will take place for the first time in Athens, Greece from the 2nd to the 4th of December 2021. The 3-day festival will be held in one of the most beautiful re-activated early 20th century buildings in the heart of Athens. We aspire to screen films of any length, language, origin or date of production, that DO NOT follow any conventional cinematic forms and are usually excluded from the mainstream. WE ARE LOOKING FOR INSPIRING FILMS, that set free and empower original voices of emerging and established filmmakers from all over the world.
