Boofy's Best for Pets proudly presents the 2nd Annual Furry Burque Film Festival, showcasing short films about our furry friends! The festival is a fundraising benefit for Second Chance Animal Rescue, a New Mexico-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping displaced animals have a second chance at happiness. Furry Burque Film Festival takes place at 1 pm on Saturday & Sunday, November 16th & 17th, 2019, at the Guild Cinema in Albuquerque, NM. Amateurs, students, and professionals are all welcome to submit their films and videos, and New Mexico filmmakers in particular are encouraged to participate. Films should have a positive pet- or animal-related theme and may be narrative, documentary, or animated in nature. Preferred length is between 5 minutes and 20 minutes, with a planned total running time of 70 to 100 minutes for each day of the festival.
