Get Reel 2017

AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND RESIDENTS ONLY! Get Reel, our filmmakers festival, launched in 2016 and returns for it's 2nd year, accepting entries from anyone in Australia and New Zealand until 28th Apr 2017. We aim to uncover the greatest short filmmaker whilst inspiring people to start a conversation. The theme of our festival, for 2017, is “Time to Talk” and we are looking for films to support positive messages around mental health and well-being. This could be about overcoming struggles, going through difficult times and finding ways to cope, rising to challenges or being open and having conversations. YOU MUST SUBMIT AN ORIGINAL SHORT FILM, RESPONDING TO THE THEME, NO LONGER THAN 10 MINUTES IN LENGTH. All entries will be reviewed by the TOTTN judging committee and culled to a Top 100. The Top 100 films will then be judged by our judges panel of film industry professionals. The Top Ten entries will then be invited to a live showcase of their films, on Sunday 18th June, at The Ritz, in Randwick, where the judges panel will review all films and crown the winner. This event will be open for the general public to attend.
