The Great Indian Film and Literature Festival is first of its kind festival to help "film-makers" and "litterateurs" come together on a shared platform to showcase their creative credentials. For each season GIFLIF travels to different cities across India. Currently, it is conducted in Delhi NCR, Bhopal and Raipur. It is a 3 day cultural and creative extravaganza that seeks to provide a unique and harmonious synthesis of literature and audiovisual art. GIFLIF's film selection jury is headed by Padmashri A.K. Bir. The other jury members are Mr. Jayprad Desai (director) and Mr. Amrit Gangar (film curator).
