1. Overview of the Festival Gimpo International Youth Film Festival is a film festival for “kids” and “youth”, held in Gimpo, Korea. We seek variety of creative youth films internationally with passion, and hope to send courage to youth in different countries around the world. Our fesitival 1. Exists for “kids” and “youth" 2. Is operated and screened "by the youth & village community" 3. Deals with "Ecology", "Peace", "Human rights", etc - Festival Date: November 20, 2021 (Saturday) to 28 (Sunday) (9 days) - Event Contents: Opening Ceremony & Awards Ceremony (Gimpo Art Hall), Screening (Mega Box, CGV, etc.), Closing Ceremony, Outdoor Screening, Media Literacy Forum and Workshop, Invitation Master Class of the Year, Movie Reading Education for Children and Youth Film Production Class, etc. 2. Overview of the Competition - Submission Date: 2021.07.15.(Wed)~08.15.(Sun) - Submission: All kinds of videos, including dramatic films, animations, documentaries, UCC and YouTube. 1) COMPETITIVE SECTION Video made by children and adolescents at home and abroad (aged 9-24) in the competition sector. 9 to 12 Section (9–12 years old/Elementary) 13 to 15 Section (13 to 15 years old/secondary) 16 to 18 Section (16–18 years old/high school) 19 to 24 Section (19–24 years old/university) 2) NON-COMPETITIVE SECTION (no age limit): videos on children and adolescents, videos beneficial to children and adolescents, etc. 3) SPECIAL SECTION (no age limit): Video containing social values 6 Six categories- ‘Peace’, ‘Village Community’, ‘Diversity’, ‘Environmental Ecology’, ‘New Media’, ‘Gimpo Regional’, etc.
