GLITTER ! Oklahoma LGBTQ Film Festival

GLITTER ! Oklahoma's LGBTQ Film Festival is proud to launch in conjunction with Fat Mary's Lounge & Cabaret in McAlester, OK. The festival directors with GLITTER are looking to provide a diverse outlet for art in Southeastern Oklahoma. GLITTER will showcase LGBTQ content films , LGBTQ filmmakers and artists. We have added one category called 120 Seconds "Change The World" Project, It will be open to all filmmakers. Fat Mary's Lounge & Cabaret will host the main event and nightly entertainment. All Screenings will be for age 21 & Over. GLITTER! was recently featured on NBC News. A portion of the proceeds from the festival will be donated to a different charity each year, that all deal with social issues affecting the LGBT community (The Trevor Project, HRC, etc) We look forward to building a diversity weekend that can celebrate LGBTQ and film. All of the submissions will be jury selected by industry professionals such as actors, filmmakers & screenwriters. GLITTER - will include film, screenwriting and photography contests. It will also include comprehensive workshops on Filmmaking 101 and Screenwriting. GLITTER Submissions are judged by a panel of 25 individuals ranging from industry professionals, first time filmmakers, and movie buffs ! Each submission is based on a 10 point grading system with the collective points determining selections, nominations and awards.
