Golden Baklava Film Academy International Student Film Festival

“The “Golden Baklava Film Academy 6th International Student Film Festival”, which will be held at Gaziantep Hasan Kalyoncu University on April 6-8, 2021, is a young art and culture event. The Festival aims to support young producers on their path of film production, attract the attention of movie-lovers, make contributions to the expansion of the cinema industry, and to ensure the recognition of cinema and producers in national and international platforms. In this direction, Festival rewards every year; documentary and fiction short films made by the university students. Golden Baklava Film Academy International Student Film Festival has obtained an international recognition through the participation of student films from national and international cinema schools and the festival boosted an environment which is suitable for the artistic announcements and reflections of our country as well as Gaziantep. As a consequence, the Festival and Film Academy creates an opportunity for young people, who are interested in cinema, for newcomers of filmmaking or for those that have an urge to show themselves in the film industry on the other hand, offers a chance to young filmmaker finalists for meeting the jury members who are recognized as Turkey’s leading directors, producers and actors.
