Haunted Oaks Film Festival

The Haunted Oaks Film Festival celebrates locally produced short horror films from in and around Pittsburgh, PA, and the greater Western, PA area. (Submissions from outside these areas will still be considered for the festival.) The Oaks Theater produces The Haunted Oaks Film Festival in partnership with Locust Street Entertainment, and screenings are held here at The Oaks Theater, a beautifully restored historic 1938 Art Deco style theater, with modern amenities such as a bar and cabaret seating - a perfect setting for the horror, suspense and thrills of the evening. The Haunted Oaks Film Festival takes our night of screenings to another level of fun for our audience and participants with our talented hosts and co-producers Lance Parkin & Ruthy Draper of Locust Street Entertainment. Audiences can expect added excitement with carefully crafted stage sketches, sure to add just the right amount of comic relief to this frightful night. The group of producers for this event are all active members of the Pittsburgh film community and have many years experience writing, acting and producing entertainment in the area. The event is a great opportunity to be a part of this active community of filmmakers.
