Indie Film Collective 72-Hour Short Film Challenge

The NYC | Indie Film Collective 72-Hour Short Film Challenge presented by Festival of Cinema NYC is a month-long film challenge in which teams will have ample time to write and polish a 7-12 minute scripts, cast actors, find locations, and edit before and after your team's chosen 72-hour production weekend dedicated solely to principal photography. At the kick-off event on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, teams draw a genre from a hat and are given a prop and a line of dialog to include in their films. Thirty plus days later, on July 30, 2019, the film is turned in - and teams celebrate.
