IFFC

The IFFC (International Film Festival Cologne) is an emerging film festival created to highlight the international talent of emerging and established filmmakers alike. We feature categories such as “Feature Film”, “Music Video” and “Documentaries”, the focus lies on highlighting the broad landscape of different kinds of storytelling. We received submissions from 51different countries and curated 28 Projects over 4 Days in 5 venues. We were very happy to be able to invite most of the nominees to Germany, resulting in 45 guests from 18 countries. The Cinegate Price, worth 7.500€ in rental equipment, was won by John Brandt and Christian Schwarz for her amazing work on "Plastic Spaceship". Our Jury consisted of 12 members featuring award winning and successful industry professionals, such as Iris Baumüller (Casting Director) which had cast over 80 Feature Films and many TV Shows like Netflix`s "Barbarians". Besides showcasing amazing work by international filmmakers, we will have creator talks, masterclasses and workshops as well as big tech companies and developers involved for next year.
