Many independent and student films are truly amazing! But these films rarely get the attention they deserve.

To fix this we've created Vurchel. Here we are collecting all the independent cinema in one convenient place, where you can watch most of the films for free.

Most films are available online only 2-3 years after they have screened at festivals. It can be tough to track them down, but Vurchel makes it easy! Simply press the heart icon next to a film title, and we'll send you an email notification as soon as that film is available for online streaming!

XXIII edition of the International Short Film Show of the Bay of Pasaia, IKUSKA 2021. The festival has an international short film competition in 5 screenings, and other parallel non-competition sessions related to the development of Basque and language coexistence (MINTZAGUN projection in collaboration with Oarsoaldea euskaltegis), Gender Equality (BEKOZ BEKO award in collaboration with the Association against gender violence Bekoz Beko), the promotion of culture in Pasaia and its surroundings, etc.
