IMPACTE! Festival de Cinema i Drets Humans de Catalunya

SPANISH (ENGLISH BELOW) Nace un nuevo festival de cine para la defensa y promoción de los derechos humanos a través del cine y su difusión en Catalunya, con sede principal en Barcelona. Esta Primera edición de IMPACTE! Festival de Cinema i Drets Humans de Catalunya se celebrará en cuatro sedes –Barcelona, Girona, Lleida i Sant Feliu de Llobregat-, si bien puede añadirse alguna más en las próximos semanas. En cualquier caso, el número definitivo quedará cerrado en el momento de la confirmación de la selección oficial. Buscamos historias sobre todo tipo de injusticias y de vulneraciones de los derechos humanos en el mundo, presentadas cinematográficamente de manera impactante, que impacten a amplias audiencias. Queremos motivar la conciencia social de la ciudadanía y estimular acciones que refuercen la convivencia democrática, el cambio social y la justicia global. ENGLISH A new film festival is born for the defense and promotion of human rights through cinema and its exhibition in Catalonia, with main headquarters in Barcelona. This First edition of IMPACTE! Human Rights Film Festival of Catalonia will be held in four cities –Barcelona, Girona, Lleida, and Sant Feliu de Llobregat-, although some more may be added in the coming weeks. In any case, all venues will be confirmed as soon as the official selection is communicated. We look for stories about all kinds of injustices and human rights violations in the world through film language that have a strong impact in a wide range of audiences. We want to inspire the social conscience of citizens and stimulate actions that reinforce democratic coexistence, social change and global justice.
