INDIE & FOREIGN FILM FESTIVAL HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL 2021 Due to Covid-19, we have postponed our 7th Annual festival until next year. We are disappointed to have to skip a year of screening films. But, we hope that in 2021, we will be celebrating the chance to come together and safely view wonderful films on our big screen once again. We will continue to share beautiful films with compelling stories when our festival returns next year. The Indie & Foreign Film Festival features stories of migrants and migration as seen through the talented eyes of directors and producers from around the world. Located in midtown Manhattan, we honor film makers with award presentations, schedule Q & A sessions following screenings and celebrate the importance of beautiful stories shared with our audience. The festival was founded in 2014 by Father Julian Jagudilla, Director of the Migrant Center of New York, Inc. His goal: to shine a light on the issue of migration. After 6 successful years, we'll continue sharing touching stories of migrants around the world. In addition, this year's festival will also feature stories of migrants here at home and the plight of those coming to the United States and the difficulties they face at this specific time in our history. We invite you to submit your films focused on migrants and migration to the United States, and we encourage student film makers to share their work as well.
