The International Maritime Film Festival (IMFF) is a juried contest of films celebrating the heritage, spirit of adventure, and ingenuity of boats and waterborne pursuits. It is the premier event for maritime-themed filmmaking. The IMFF is a joint venture between Main Street Bucksport in Bucksport, Maine and World Ocean Observatory in Sedgiwck, Maine with community partner the Island Institute in Rockland, Maine. The state-of-the art Alamo theatre in Bucksport hosts a festival weekend annually in September. 2021 dates are September 24-26, 2021.
