Kicking + Screening Soccer Film Festival

Kicking + Screening Soccer Film Festival (K+S) is North America's premier cultural event series dedicated to the beautiful game. Our flagship festival, held every summer in New York City, is a circle-the-date part of the North American soccer scene. More than just a showcase of soccer films, K+S festivals provide broad soccer-culture programming, including featured speakers, panel discussions, photography/art exhibitions, literary readings, and more. OUR HISTORY K+S was founded in 2009 when a blind date between two fervent soccer and film fans, Greg Lalas and Rachel Markus, evolved into something else: an annual film and culture festival dedicated to the beautiful game. The festival is held annually in New York, with satellite festivals organized occasionally around the world, including Washington (D.C.), Amsterdam, London, Liverpool, Copenhagen, Prague, Abu Dhabi, and Kerala (India), among others.
