KO:SH FILM FEST

KO:SH Film Fest is an International Short Film Festival taking place in Korça, Albania, every early July and lasting 5 days, organized by FIRST STEP ASSOCIATION & D’ART PRODUCTION. The Festival aims to make together in Korca, filmmakers from all around the world, to screen their movies, make new connections, and to develop their incoming projects. The filmmakers will have the opportunity to visit the beautiful city of Korca, and to screen their movie on it’s historical square. Besides the competition, other events are organized as: Industry Day Special events, meetings, discussions between filmmakers, festival directors, distributors etc, are made during the industry day. Focus Program Every year we choose one or two countries in focus. Short films from respective countries are screened. Following to Q&A and other discussions regarding the films etc. Kids Program One of our most loved programs it’s Kids Program. Animated workshops are organized, where kids 7+ can make a short animated film. Last year, two representatives from “Le FAR / Espace d’éducation à l’image” from Clermont-Ferrand, were in Korca and they teached to the kids how to make a short animated movie. A 3-minute short film was made by ~60 kids in 3 days. Masterclasses Different masterclasses are organized by artists and filmmakers. Workshops Also, different workshops are organized. Script development, acting on film, music on film are some of them, that we did and we’ll organize the next edition of KO:SH FILM FEST. VR Experience Last year, we launched the VR Competition for the first time in an Albanian film festival. The young generation loved it, and this is a program that we will continue to make it, making it bigger and bigger in time. KO:SH FILM FEST ON TOUR KO:SH FILM FEST ON TOUR, it’s our traveling cinema program that happens before or after the main event. This year we’ve traveled in 7 cities in Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia, where we screened a selection of short films, the most awarded and loved by the public. This year we made it possible
