LA EigaFest

Japan Film Society (JFS) will hold its fifth annual LA EigaFest at the L.A. Live in Downtown LA this September. We are now soliciting for the Shorts Competition (The Golden Zipangu Award). The Festival’s Golden Zipangu Award recognizes excellence in filmmaking craft by honoring innovation in all genres of short films. The winning entries will be selected for a premiere at the LA EigaFest. We are proud to present this platform to promote works of Japanese and Japanese influenced filmmakers and artists for American audiences. The competition will be judged by prominent members of the Hollywood community, with the winner walking away with the coveted Golden Zipangu Award.
