Celebrating cultural diversity through the lens of film arts, Los Angeles International Culture Film Festival (LAICFF) offers a great opportunity to filmmakers all over the world to present their local cultures via film and to audience and judges from Hollywood in Los Angeles. Striving to establish a boundless global filmmaking network, LAICFF invites everyone to learn about and appreciate authentic local cultures and the value of cultural diversity in film. OUR OBJECTIVES: • Discover and reward outstanding filmmakers • Support young filmmakers with an exhibition platform, media exposure, and other development opportunities • Showcase filmmaking styles from different cultures and encourage inter-cultural exchange of ideas in terms of filmmaking techniques and artistic creativity • Raise awareness and enhance understanding of diverse international culture in the Hollywood community, improving the relationship between Hollywood and international film community • Expose diverse cultures to local audiences and film lovers around the globe • Promote appreciation of cultural diversity through the power of cinema We welcome outstanding filmmakers and films from any country in any language, as long as they demonstrate certain aspects of a particular culture or explore the meaning of cultural diversity. Bringing together these excellent films and presenting them to mass audiences in Los Angeles and film professionals from both Hollywood and the international community, LAICFF aims to spreading the influence of both film arts and international culture. LAICFF is founded and hosted by International Scholars Film Association (ISFA), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting public education in the production of motion picture and increasing the influence of international culture and filmmakers in mainstream community.
