Liverpool Pride Short Film Competition Night Part of Liverpool Pride at the Pictures This competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom (UK) ONLY. See conditions below. UK resident makers of short films of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Trans*gender interest (LGBT) are invited to submit short films under 39 minutes for an event representing the BFI North West & Central Film Hub region (Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire or Shropshire) to choose an entrant for the BEST OF BRITISH category at Iris Prize 2018. Liverpool Pride campaigns against homophobia and Trans*phobia across the Liverpool City Region and are very honoured to be partnering with IRIS again this year. We have run an annual festival since 2010 and are proud to have been screening films every year with the Unison North West LGBT Network.
