Los Angeles International Children's Film Festival

The 15th annual Los Angeles International Children’s Film Festival, previously scheduled for April-May 2020, was held online via Vimeo Showcase in December 2020. Thanks to the thousands of viewers from around the world who joined us for this entirely free event. We still hope to have a limited in-person version of the 15th festival when it's safe and local guidelines allow. The 16th annual LAICFF will happen in March-April 2022. The call for entries opened Feb. 1, 2021 and remains open via FilmFreeway. Online and in-person festival screenings are free access/admission for the public. Each year, presenting around 120 short films from around the world—animation, live action, and documentary films—organized for different age groups. The festival has a history of showcasing talent and moving careers forward, with more than 40 of our animators and filmmakers going on to work for major studios, and more than 25 becoming part of Oscar-winning teams.
