Lucid Dream Fantastic Film Festival

Lucid Dream Fantastic Film Festival is a film festival specialized in fantastic cinema in its broader meaning: fantasy, sci-fi, horror and animation. This is the first edition of a festival that wants to become one of the main event in the cultural landscape of its territory. LDFFF is promoted and organized by the Smaskerando Cultural Association, in its cultural promotion project. This project was made possible by Funder35, promoted by Cariplo Foundation. Where? The Media Valle del Serchio and the Garfagnana are the main territory of the whole project of cultural promotion by Smaskerando. The territory at the moment is lacking of a similar event and it fits perfectly for a fantastic festival: it's impossible to ignore the historical vocation for fantastic tales and the evocative locations that inspired various international directors. When? LDFFF will premiere during the last days of October, during the beginning of the Halloween celebrations. --- Program (currently being developed) October 26th - Opening Night with screening of Méliès' "Le Voyage dans la lune" with live music by M. Salotti; - Cinema themed event. October 27th - Screening of selected short films, categories: Animation and Sci-Fi; - Stop-motion Worskhop; Octobre 28th - Screening of selected short films, categories: Fantasy and Horror; - Masterclass with Lamberto Bava; - Award Cerimony; - Screening of "Demoni", introduced by Lamberto Bava.
