Foreign-language films require legible English subtitles. Selected projects must supply a fact sheet and a high-resolution screening file. For the 2026 competition, projects must be completed after 1 January 2025 and have their theatrical and festival premieres in British Columbia; local graduation and crew screenings are exempt. Online or streaming availability does not disqualify a film, unless the platform is a British Columbia-based festival. Older works may be considered outside competition. AI-assisted work requires disclosure of how and to what extent AI is used and is eligible only for out-of-competition programming. Films may screen in person, online or both, with arrangements confirmed with filmmakers. Submitters must have authority to authorise screenings, including multiple screenings across British Columbia.","https://sparkcg.org/",[44,48,52,55
"Email","hello@sparkcg.org","General festival and professional enquiries
"Website","https://filmfreeway.com/SPARKANIMATION","Film submissions and regulations
"https://www.facebook.com/SparkCG","Official Facebook
"https://www.instagram.com/SparkCG/","Official Instagram",1792209361]
