European Filmfestival Göttingen 2021 After we had to cancel last years festival due to the pandemic - It´s time for short films again! Whether with filmmakers and audience on site and/or online is still in the stars. 🌟 Either way, it will be a highlight, because we will show and award the films from 2020 AND 2021 in twice as many short film blocks. The small masterpieces of cinematic storytelling are shown in various venues in the central student city Göttingen. With the motto: "Do it halfway!" ("Mach mal halblang!"), the festival is dedicated to a genre with particularly creative potential. Integrated into the concept of the Göttinger Kurzfilmfestival e.V., the declared aim of this festival is to network filmmakers and to promote the exchange between established filmmakers, young talents and the audience. If watching films on the festival days is not enough for you, you have the opportunity in several workshops to actively work on your qualities as a filmmaker: With four extraordinary workshops, we offer young filmmakers a worthwhile supporting program within the festival. If the conditions allow it the filmmakers whose films will be shown at the festival are invited by us to Göttingen with the goal of networking and training. ----------------------------------------------------------- Europäisches Filmfestival Göttingen 2021 Nachdem es im letzten Jahr pandemiebedingt leider kein Festival gab, wird „Mach mal halblang!“ im November/Dezember 2021 zum vierten Mal stattfinden. Dabei gibt es zwei wesentliche Neuerungen: Das Rennen um die „Göttinger Golden Shorts” findet ab jetzt im Rahmen des Europäischen Filmfestivals Göttingen statt – und das jährlich. Ob mit Filmemacher*innen und Publikum vor Ort und/oder online steht noch in den Sternen. 🌟 So oder so wird es ein Highlight, denn wir zeigen und prämieren in doppelt so vielen Kurzfilmblöcken die Filme der Jahre 2020 UND 2021. Erklärtes Ziel des Festivals ist es, Filmschaffende zu vernetzen und den Austausch zwischen arrivierten Filmschaffenden, jungen Talenten und dem Publikum zu fördern. Wem das Filmeschauen an den Festivaltagen nicht genug ist, der hat in mehreren Workshops die Möglichkeit, selbst aktiv an seinen Qualitäten als Filmschaffender zu arbeiten: Mit vier außergewöhnlichen Workshops bieten wir dem Filmnachwuchs ein lohnenswertes Rahmenprogramm innerhalb des Festivals an. Soweit es die Auflagen ermöglichen, laden wir die Filmschaffenden, deren Filme im Rahmen des Festivals gezeigt werden, nach Göttingen ein - Unterkunft inklusive, denn: Wir möchten vernetzen und weiterbilden!
