Montaż Film Festiwal

[zjedź niżej aby czytać po polsku] Montaż Film Festiwal is an event focused on the whole process of film postproduction. Our goal is to integrate the film environment, professional film education and supporting film culture. We’re showing one of the most interesting films and their authors, we’re focusing on the newest technologies used in pro film making. During our festival we’re talking about film editing, VFX, color grading, matte painting, sound design and many more. We’re presenting equipment, and accomplishments of the best audiovisual producers of Poland. Every year we’re organizing the Main Competition for medium length movies, in 3 categories: fiction, documentary and videoclip. Films taking part in our competition are judged by members of Polish Association of Film Editors. Compete to win the Golden Scissors Award. “The image itself is not enough – it’s incredibly important, but it’s just an image. Naszym celem jest integracja środowiska filmowego, profesjonalna edukacja branżowa oraz wspieranie kultury filmowej. Prezentujemy najciekawsze dzieła filmowe oraz ich twórców, skupiamy się na stosowanych w branży technologiach. W trakcie trwania wydarzenia poruszamy zagadnienia z zakresu montażu filmowego, efektów specjalnych, color gradingu, matte paintingu, postprodukcji dźwięku i wielu innych. Demonstrujemy sprzęt oraz dokonania najlepszych producentów wspierających rynek audiowizualny. Co roku organizujemy Konkurs Główny do którego można nadsyłać filmy średniometrażowe w 3 kategoriach: fabuła, dokument, teledysk. Nadesłane filmy oceniane są przez profesjonalne Jury składające się z członków Polskiego Stowarzyszenia Montażystów. Do wygrania Złote Nożyce. „Same obrazy nie wystarczą – są bardzo ważne, ale są tylko obrazami. Ważne jest trwanie każdego obrazu na ekranie i to co następuje po kolejnym obrazie. Cała narracja i wydźwięk filmu powstają w montażowni” Orson Welles
