Movi|mentale Festival CALL FOR DANCE FILMS and VIDEO PERFORMANCE EDITION 2021 WHAT IS THE PARADISE? After some years of stop, we decided to start again with the Festival even if the social and economic situation it's not so great. Because we trust in the power of art anyway and anytime. PLACE the festival which include also a dance performance section, will take place at the outside garden of the theatre TAN ( Teatro Area Nord) which is located at the North suburbs of Naples. An emblematic suburban place that becomes the ideal location for a festival believes in art as an element of cohesion CONCEPT Starting from a research of Divine Comedy by DANTE, for this edition, Movi|mentale festival wants to explore the main concept of what it means nowadays the idea of the PARADISE. We would like to analyze the concept of paradise through a secular and contemporary perspective, which is linked to the relationship between the individual and contemporary society. Do you relate the idea of heaven with something linked to your most intimate and profound part or do you relate it instead to your relationship with humanity? We believe that the concept of paradise is not something abstract but instead it is very concrete and that each of us identifies it with our own life experience. we would like to create a mapping of various paradises that are linked to different artistic and life experiences. A concept map and video that can create a "geography of thoughts". We would very much like to use this opportunity to extend an invitation to visual artists and directors everywhere to take part in this ongoing experiment, which will offer a unique chance to showcase your distinctive art.
