Multicultural Film Festival

The Victorian Multicultural Commission (VMC) in association with Swinburne University of Technology invites all interested people, including emerging and established filmmakers, to submit films for consideration for inclusion in the Multicultural Film Festival 2021. Australia is a vibrant, multicultural country. We are home to the world’s oldest continuous cultures, as well as Australians who identify with more than 270 ancestries. The Multicultural Film Festival is a celebration of this distinction and difference. The stories the films tell can be made by and/or be about people from any cultural background. For the Young Film Makers categories, we invites any young film makers from Prep to Year 12 to produce and submit a short film individually or in a group. Films can be produced independently, at home with a parent or at school.
