NC South & East International Asian Film Festival

Year 2020 - Film Festival is being held virtually on Sept 12 & Sept 13 via Facebook. The goal of the South & East Asian Film Festival is three fold: First & Foremost (60%) - Screen & promote films of South & East Asian Filmmakers living in the NORTH AMERICAN CONTINENT who bring forth films of all different themes and backgrounds Second (25%) - Screen & promote films by all North American filmmakers (Latino's, African American, Native Americans, Hispanics, Europeans, Asians) who present films of South & East Asian Themes Lastly (15%) - Screen & promote films of South & East Asian Filmmakers living internationally For the year 2020 - The Film Festival has three themes "All themes" - 50% of the films "Special Section - Screening of Spiritualism related Films of S. & E. Asian Diaspora" (50%) The South Asian Film's showcases films of S. & East Asians representing the countries - Afghanistan Andaman and Nicobar Islands Bangladesh Bhutan Brunei Cambodia China Christmas Island East Timor Hong Kong India Indonesia Japan Laos Macau Maldives Mongolia Myanmar Nepal North Korea Pakistan Phillipines Singapore South Korea Sri Lanka Taiwan Tibet Thailand The Cocos (Keeling Islands) Malaysia Vietnam
