New Generations Independent Indian Film Festival

November 12-14th, 2021, the 13th „New Generations – Independent Indian Film Festival” will bring highlights of the New Indian Cinema to Frankfurt, Germany. We will be hosting a hybrid event at the renowned Orfeos Erben and online Germany wide as well. We are looking forward to the re-start of cinemas and festivals after the corona crisis, willing to do our best to adapt to the current dynamics and develop new perspectives for a cinematic future. We are now looking for submissions for our New Generations Short Film Wallah competition. The movie should be a production of Independent South Asian Cinema or with focus South Asia. A German premiere is desired. We are looking for works with their own visual language, new angles and forms. The New Generations Short Film Wallah Award is in its seventh year now.
