NOUVEAUX REGARDS FILM FESTIVAL

Editorial line: discovering innovative cinema! The Nouveaux Regards Film Festival explores the fresh and innovative new approach to creating and experiencing cinema, focusing on the young International and Caribbean directors and providing a showcase for fearless, effervescent talent. We strive to create an event of cordial discussion and appraisal of Cinema not available anywhere else in the world. Competition is open to short films, narrative and documentaries as well as Smartphone filmmaking. Are allowed to participate in the competition exclusively films by directors from or living in the Caribbean and Guyana: Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint-Martin, St-Barth’s, French Guiana, Antigua-and-Barbuda, Anguilla, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Cuba, Curacao, Dominica, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, Dominican Republic, St Kitts and Nevis, Saint-Lucia, Saint-Vincent & the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Costa-Rica, Guyana, Surinam, Virgin Islands, Bonaire, Porto-Rico. Caribbean films produced by companies located in a country not listed above are also eligible for submission. Nouveaux Regards Film Festival is destined to become the foremost Festival of new Cinema in the Caribbean.
