Oklahoma Student Film Challenge

The Oklahoma Student Film Challenge is a FREE Filmmaking Contest for all Oklahoma students, presented by Clean Shorts Film Festival. OSFC includes categories for Elementary, Middle School, High School, and College/Career Tech students across the state of Oklahoma. Create a film using the required elements, and compete against other students from Oklahoma for Trophies and Prizes! Register for Free at: http://students.cleanshorts.org/ (Registration required for team leader only) Required elements will be revealed via email upon completion of registration. OSFC screening and awards will take place Friday, May 6, 2022. The event will include filmmaking workshops for students and serve as the kickoff to Clean Shorts Film Festival. Trophies and Prizes will be awarded to the best films, based on our judges scoring. The Oklahoma Student Film Challenge rules are Simple: * Oklahoma Students Only * Create a 3-6 minute, (Total Run Time – Including Credits), video using the Required Elements. (Elementary & Middle School Divisions: 2-4 Minute TRT) * The first 9 seconds of the film must include: - 2 seconds of black - 5 second Title Card listing chosen Prop, Line of Dialogue and Genre - 2 seconds of black * Title Slate, Opening Credits and Closing Credits count as part of the TRT. * Follow the existing Clean Shorts Film Festival Rules for acceptable films. See "Rules & Terms" below, for details on festival rules. * All Film Crew Members (Writing/Filming/Editing) must be current students enrolled in an Oklahoma school. Verification of enrollment must be available if requested by OSFC staff. * No Restriction for On-Screen Talent (Anyone can appear in the film, regardless of student status). * Submissions open September 13, 2021. The deadline to submit is March 11, 2022. * Film must be made during the contest deadlines only. No previous footage allowed. * Multiple Submissions are allowed. Students can create and or participate in multiple films.
