One Eye Film Festival

** Late entry: email info@dubbofilmmakers.com for a waiver code.** The One Eye Film Festival in Dubbo, Australia was originally created as an opportunity for local filmmakers to screen their films. We'll be celebrating our 9th season in 2021, with categories for other Australian and international filmmakers to share their short films to give local audiences and filmmakers wider exposure to the form. There are no prizes, there is no theme. We exist to promote filmmaking and film viewing around Dubbo and surrounding areas. We want to see as wide a range of films as possible, but we want all films to be shorter than 10 minutes (4 minutes for secondary student category and 2 minutes for primary student category). Please note: the longer form category for short films is by invitation only - please get in touch if you would like to be considered . All genres welcome - narrative, documentary, music video, experimental, video art - anything you can think of! Films do not necessarily need to be family friendly but we will not consider films with overly-graphic sex or violence. Submit your film via FilmFreeway online screener. For all entry requirements and conditions, please view the below Rules and Terms for information including technical specifications sheet. To optimise the quality of your submitted film, make sure you view it on different devices (e.g., computer monitor, TV, etc) to identify and correct any quality problems with sound or picture. Depending on public health orders in place at the time, this may not be possible, in which case a ticketed (behind paywall) online version of the film festival will take place instead. You will be given the option to opt-out of an online screening should you choose. This will not impact your "official selection" status should your project be selected for the film festival.
