The OutLive Film Festival: Celebrating the strength of the human spirit and the healing power of the outdoors. Held at the beginning of Fall on Friday September, 25th 2020, the OutLive Film Festival is located in beautiful Spokane, Washington.
Our venue is the Historic Bing Crosby Theatre, which is located in the heart of downtown and is within walking distance of fine restaurants, breweries, and the always beautiful Riverfront Park. Filmmakers will get to experience their productions on the big screen in front of a live audience, followed by a simple Q&A session and award ceremony. Filmmakers are encouraged to participate in Q&A session following the screening to further engage and connect with the audience.
All films selected will be screened during the festival. Our festival seeks out an eclectic mix of narrative, documentary, and short films. We seek all genres of film that adhere in some or all parts to our festival theme: “Healing trauma by setting goals that involve outdoor activity and human connection.”
(Side Note: Due to Washington State's policy with the COVID-19 Virus -- Our screening and submission dates have shifted to the new dates currently listed, we apologize for the inconvenience)
