Peloponnisos International documentary Festival

It is a feature and short documentaries festival. The Main Event takes place in Kalamata, Greece and part of the program is screened in several cities all over the Peloponnese region. The festival includes Special Events, masterclasses, retrospectives, educational screenings, seminars and so on. The overall attendance every year reaches approximately 12.000 to 13.000 viewers. Feature documentaries are judged from May to October every year and the official notification Date is at the end of November. The event is taking place every January. Short films are judged every month and selected films are presented to the public in special screenings. In the case they get selected by the programming team of the yearly event, the winners of each month may be then considered for the yearly competition. Selected films of the Monthly edition can also use the official selection laurel.
