Penitente Film Fest

Penitente Film Fest es el primer festival Boyacense dedicado al cine de género, enfatizando en el Sci-Fi, la fantasía y el terror. Creado como una alternativa a los festivales ya existentes tanto en el departamento como en el país, cuyo enfoque no es tan particular. Desde la organización creemos que el cine de género permanece vigente, con la misma capacidad de asombrarnos, maravillarnos e inquietarnos mientras trasversal o paralelamente nos ofrece nuevas formas de interpretar y plasmar nuestra realidad y la de cineastas de todo el mundo. Iniciamos un viaje hacia universos desconocidos, Penitente Film Fest anuncia su primera convocatoria, que se llevará a cabo desde el 1 de mayo hasta el 15 de agosto de 2021. Penitente Film Fest is the first Boyacense festival dedicated to genre cinema, emphasizing Sci-Fi, fantasy, and terror. It was created as an alternative to the existing festivals in the department and in the country, whose focus is not so particular. From the organization, we believe that the genre cinema remains in force, with the same capacity to amaze, wonder, and unsettling us while transverse or parallel offers new ways to interpret and shape our reality and that of filmmakers around the world. We begin a journey towards unknown universes, Penitente Film Fest announces its first call, which will take place from May 1 to August 15, 2021.
